Julian is currently visiting the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP) in Santa Barbara, California. He is presenting a poster on his work related to drying effects of soft colloidal monolayers on solid substrates at the conference "Structure, Design and Emerging Phenomena in Nanoparticle Assemblies: What’s next?", The conference concludes the very fruitful and inspiring "Nanoparticle Assemblies: A New Form of Matter with Classical Structure and Quantum Function" programme.
